Democracy is a way of life.
It is not self-sustaining.
Not just for nation or state
Or just for elections.
It is vital.
It is personal.
It is faithful.
Not generally faithful,
but with specific faith.
Faith in human debate.
Faith in human wisdom.
Faith in human possibility.
In discovering together each idea.
In working together each day.
In creating together each truth.
Free assembly.
Free speech.
Free press
We will organize here.
We will vote here.
We will govern here.
Create change here!
Together.
